The Charter operates as a non-profit initiative. Membership fees are used to support the operation of the Charter, including maintaining the registry of Chartered Professionals and ensuring effective governance of the initiative.

The fee structure is designed to keep participation accessible while supporting the sustainability of the Charter.

Annual membership fees

Membership fees are based on the size of the organisation.

• €    990 per year for organisations with 1–99 employees
• € 1,990 per year for organisations with 100 or more employees

These fees apply to organisations registering as a Member Organisation of the Charter.

What the fees support

Membership fees contribute to the operation and governance of the Charter, including:

• maintaining the professional registry
• managing the registration process
• supporting governance and oversight of the Charter
• ensuring transparency and integrity of the initiative

As a non-profit framework, the Charter aims to operate efficiently while supporting the long-term development of professional standards in the wholesale energy markets.

Employee registration fees

In addition to organisational membership, individual professionals who register as Chartered Professionals may be subject to a separate annual fee. Organisations may choose to cover these costs on behalf of their employees as part of their commitment to professional development.
